A Broken Heart – Venus ℞ in Scorpio
Posted on: October 3, 2026

A Broken Heart
A broken heart does not stop breaking once the moment of rupture has passed.
Some breaks scab over and heal.
But if there is no closure on the hurt it once broke from the breaks do not have time to close.
The cracks deepen.
The cracks become voids.
The voids become new beginnings, hosts to new fertile ground.

They begin as dark and damp spaces that no one wants to sit within. Watered by tears, seemingly with nothing growing there.
But in time the tears lessen.
And somewhere beneath the surface, a pulse of some rhythm becomes the warmth that nurtures these dark trenches into fertile ground.
Seeds from the unconscious void begin to take root.
Filling these cracks with an evolved expression of what was once whole.
Renewal is the void’s promise.
Unknown to light … yet.

Bestowing the power of unrestrained potential until it emerges from the hidden depths of the void.
Before that time comes, the broken heart makes peace with the cracks and feels intently into its swells and trenches.
It dreams with the dark rivers of unbound consciousness and trusts the beautiful unfolding of the Great Voided Heartbeat that sets it all in motion.
Perhaps this is where Venus meets us now.
Evening Star Venus commences her 40 day retrograde journey in Scorpio.
She turns back toward the Sun.
Towards the underworld.
Toward the invisible.
And into the void.
Soon the Sun will crown and birth a new Morning Star Venus at 0°♏︎ Scorpio.
So we live with her and open to the promise of the void.
The gift of the unknown.
The birth from darkness.

And I write this from inside my own void.
Today also holds my Taurus Sun Lilith opposite my Scorpio Pluto in T-Square to Transiting Pluto. The fourth of five exact passes.
Broken by this transit is an understatement.
Since the last Venus Morning Star Point in 2025 I have gone through three pregnancy losses.
So I lean to Venus as she begins her decent. Not for an answer, but for company. Perhaps for her healing journey to hold mine and offer a new strength of heart.
