Happy New Lunar Year!
The Solar Eclipse opened the Chinese lunar year, the Year of the Fire Horse.

This brings a force of quickening.
The Fire Horse is not passive energy. It is momentum. Instinct. Independent spirit. It moves fast, clears ground, resists confinement. Fire illuminates and purifies. The Horse runs with vision and vitality. Together they signal courage, decisive movement and the refusal to remain tethered to what has already burned out.
This is not a year for stagnation. It is a year that asks for authenticity in motion.
In addition to this, there are mass groups within the collective entering global ceremony. Whether consciously or not, both lent, a Christian tradition, and Ramadan, a Muslim tradition, commence on the same day in 2026.
Ramadan and Lent beginning together is a rare occurrence due to the different calendars used by Islam and Christianity. Ramadan follows the lunar Islamic calendar, while Lent is based on the solar Gregorian calendar.
What this signifies is collective action rooted in faith and expressed through disciplined devotion.
Through the astrological lens, not only did we experience a solar eclipse – an exact conjunction of the Sun (consciousness, vitality, expression) and the Moon (subconscious, sustenance, response) birthing an emergence from an old casing, outdated narrative. This week Neptune (faith, imagination, vision) and Saturn (discipline, reality, vow) are conjoined at the World Point 0° Aries – the beginning of the 360° zodiac.
Aries: Cardinal Fire. Pure spirit. Innocence. Creativity. Inspiration. Action. Fearlessness.
Pause a moment and look around. Look within.
What we are witnessing is a unification of humanity.
A weaving of spirit and form. Transcendence meeting the body.
Regardless of faith, belief or practice this is a moment in the human story that gestures towards a return to purity of consciousness.
