A Poetic Offering
Opening the Gate
To those who carry the Sun-Pluto signature in your chart: you are among the quiet torchbearers of this world.
Your presence – as dear friends, teachers, peers, students, and soul companions – has been a sacred fire in my life. Shaping my ability to live this archetype without becoming consumed by it.
This poem, Portal, arises from that current.
My natal 3° Taurus Sun opposite 3° Scorpio Pluto is now undergoing the long initiation of a Pluto square – a deep activation, both destructive and renewing.
Last year, under this same opposition – and precisely as Uranus began transiting my Mars–Saturn opposition – upon receiving a prophetic experience – however this was to be delivered – I bowed to Earth and all Humanity, and I made a vow:
→ to hold a space,
→ to witness the wave pulsing through consciousness,
→ to remain a portal.
That vow was sealed in communion with the Ocean, many months later, under ♀ Venus rising as the Morning Star in ♓ Pisces.
I asked how to bless the lilac wave of 333,000 souls born daily into this imminent dawn. That question became a path.
Today, on this year’s Sun – Pluto opposition, I share this poem as a reflection of that vow – and in honour of the Soul Grounding Ceremony I offer today for a mother and child due at the next ♀☉ Sun – Venus Cazimi.
Liminal and spiritual guidance rarely arrives in literal form. It speaks through metaphor, image, and resonance. Yet when one remains open – as a portal through which such forces may cross the core path – the profundity is undeniable. What appears fragmented or “lost in translation” is often just language trying to catch up to depth.
The truth remains:
We are far more deeply connected than we know.
PORTAL

Sun ☍ Pluto
Written 20th July, 2025, 11am, Malaga.
If there is anything I have learned from the tension of oppositions,
it is to be a portal.
Not attached to either side of the gateway,
not swayed by what passes the threshold.
But to hold the liminal space of what walks through.
With every passing force,
the portal is strengthened –
brought close to breaking point.
To hold a Light at this Portal
is not for attention,
but rather to warm the path of what must come and go.
Attachment to either side
becomes a self-destructive feat.
It asks of you:
to just witness,
to love deeply,
to hold a space.
To let go of the self,
yet honour life with servitude and diligence.
To let go of the void’s promise,
and integrate the depth of darkness
with the unconditional spectral of light.
To exist in the world –
yet claim no thing of it.
It is the continual, trusting rest
in the pyre of the self –
birthing the rise of an inner light,
that blesses, and becomes
the beloved you live for.
An Echo through the Threshold
The Sun Pluto Portal is a resonance.
A frequency that many of us hold quietly in the liminal thresholds of this world.
For those shaped by intensity…
For those transmuting fire into guidance…
For those who walk the razor edge between dissolution and devotion – this is for you.
Continue to hold the depth of your Light, so others may find their way.
May this offering mirror a vow you, too, may have made.
May it remind you:
