Lughnasadh Lion’s Gate

I’ll put this here as a few people have messaged to ask my thoughts on it. I wrote about this in 2024.
8:8 Lion’s Gate ❌
I have spoken on this in my various classes and webinars on Sirius and Lughnasadh and other posts also in my free resource Cycle with the Wheel of the Year.
Everyone is entitled to their choice of expression and use of energy so perhaps the significance for others is worthy for them in their own way. So this is not to dismiss that.
But to clarify, I see the Lion’s Gate as the astrological Lughnasadh point.
15°♌︎ Fixed Fire
❌Not as the numerological 8:8 day nor a day that aligns with Sirius – perhaps some years in the past it did align with the heliacal rising or in certainly locations it does, so I am not disputing that as the link, and I am sure I used it as unconscious click bait in my novice years. (And delighted in it being my husband’s birthday! 🥰)
Peak Point
The 15th degree of Leo is the exact point between Cancer Solstice and the Libra Equinox (Yang points) aka Lughnasadh, as a Celtic Wheel of the Year festival)
The Fixed Cross Gates
The Fixed Cross Gates are the Yin gates (Inner) to focus inward, seal up any leaks or unnecessary pulls of your vital force. When the Sun crosses these points they are activations of Peak Points of essential vitality drawn inward. The fixed cross offers a thinning of the veils, a term used to note that the intuitive (in) energy is strong /peaking at this time. Therefore the term “Lion’s Gate” can be a reference for either hemisphere for this mid point between the two seasonal points (solstice and equinox)
I have used these names for the other Fixed Cross Quarter Fire Festivals in the Celtic Wheel of the Year
Lion’s Gate = Lughnasadh 15°♌︎
Phoenix Gate = Samhain 15°♏︎
Angel’s Gate = Imbolg 15°♒︎
Bull’s Gate = Bealtaine 15°♉︎
These are Solar Festivals.
☀️ Solar: Vital Life Force.
Your Spirit. Your awareness is the player in this cycle so these celebrations should be focusing on upgrading how you choose to spend your vitality wisely, in alignment with the goodness of your awareness. These solar cycles can offer checks to align yourself with your sovereignty (self-government/ individuation within unity consciousness)
Leo🦁
For Leo it is to focus on Inner Spirit and Heart. And the qualities of this sign: loyalty, sacred sovereignty, creation, reverence and manifestation of Divine Will through the individual to inspire and attract others to follow their own heart.
8:8
The 8:8 is great for numerological reference within our Gregorian calendar, especially if you enjoy and use numerology for serendipitous energy encouragement (I love the little buzz of checking my watch at exactly 11:11 or waking from dream at 4:44 am etc. 8.8, 5.5 and 12.12 dates for example, can offer this great joy and high vibe numerology date too) but 8.8 doesn’t align with the Sirius star nor an astronomical correlation (not this year 2024 anyway), as I have shared before in the Sirius class I offered in July.
Sirius
In the Sirius class i spoke about the Masonic links and other influences, perhaps some are well intentioned too and do carry strong spiritual consciousness associations and symbolism.
Inner Power
We can regain our own power by learning how this makes us feel and following our own inner Light/guidance on these times. Use these times to manifest goodness and creative love then the “negative” or fear based use of these high vibrational times won’t impact or have influence over you. Any your energetic capacity to “see” through these deceptive veils becomes easy, therefore “their” control over you becomes frivolous and meaningless. You have regained your own inner power.
This is the best use of this time:
Recognition of what life offers you,
Purification of what you are and
Pride in how you spend/manifest your Light.
Then this peak point of Inner Spirit ♌︎ provides an opportunity to radiate your love and creativity for the betterment of self and other.

May the awareness of honourable use of energy and spirit continue grow so more high-vibrational energy tips the scales and allows these “portals of time” be used correctly for what they are (🪜 ) and not (consciously or unconsciously) abused (🐍) to shed your of skin and leave you feeling vulnerable and unaware.
Life is like a game of snakes and ladders. Play well, but remember it is a game of discernment of your awareness. Reflect inwardly at this time (Lughnasadh) Know your Light and choose how you want to your vitality to be spent and manifested.
I aim to keep optimistic about this and not feed the fear or paranoia. We each have a choice how to spend our energy. This is what we are learning to do at this time.
